Jump Showdown Skill Builder
Skill Builder is the private-server workshop: custom M1s, imported Vergil pastes, fake ultimates. It is not a public-server roster unlock. Read this with the roster so you never confuse an import with Cursed Child.
How to open Skill Builder
- Join a private server you own or were invited to.
- Open the command panel and toggle Build Mode on yourself.
- Press the keyframe / gold-bordered button on the left HUD (or Wizards → Skill Builder).
- Use the green plus to create a skill or character slot.
The tutorial above is the short version of the editor. Longer modifier and import videos exist; we embed one so this page stays a guide instead of a playlist. After the video, the block list below is what you actually click.
How to use import codes
Open Character Skill Builder, hit the blue arrow, paste the export blob, import, then Load Character → Switch. Imports only appear for you on that private server. They do not grant Early Access, they do not beat the boss, and they do not show up in public ranked Duels. Discord skill-share channels on the official server are where those blobs live. They are not redeem codes.
Blocks you will actually use
- Wait — timing between hits.
- Skill — calls a moveset function you own (EA skills stay hidden if you do not own EA).
- Animation, Velocity, Sound, Effect — the juice.
- Hit Detect, Variant, Branch, Loop, Cancel — finishers, counters, QTEs.
- Wall Combo and Block hooks — custom 4th-M1 and perfect-block behavior.
Skill Builder is free. Private Server+ adds extra commands and exclusive toys, but the editor itself does not require the pass. Using PS+ commands still kills boss spawns on that shard, so keep a clean server for Chara and a dirty server for Vergil pastes. If velocity “does nothing,” you targeted yourself instead of the victim — a common first-hour bug called out in comment sections on every tutorial.

The builder is free. Some referenced skills require owning Early Access to appear in the picker.
