How to Beat Cursed Child in Jump Showdown

Spawn rules

At about 17 minutes 30 seconds of server time, a boss event rolls. Cursed Child is roughly a 50% roll against other events such as Heian Sukuna. She appears in public and private servers. Talk to Jimpee in the arena and pay 499 Robux to force a spawn if you are done waiting. If you have used any PS+ command — including Strike — on that private server, the spawn is dead until you rejoin. That is the most expensive sentence on this wiki for people who warmed up with admin tools.

The arena is Shinjuku Station, back of the map, through a stone gap. Hang near the castle / station wing so you are not jogging from the lake when the timer pops. Server time sits on the HUD. If a World Event boss is already live, you will not get a second one. See World Events.

Tips to defeat Chara easily in Jump Showdown

The clip is the practical punish: the opener is always a slide, you hit the end of it, you do not greed, you save Awakening for a low-HP dump, you skill-interrupt the big slash because M1s will not, and you side dash instead of backpedaling phase two. Watch it once, then use the written phases below as a checklist.

Phase one and phase two

Phase one is full HP down to 450. Moves: Onslaught (melee rush), Lethal Wound (slide, mid-range), Blood Mary (close poke), Fight (after three M1s, 22 damage on the boss version). Side dash the slide. Do not walk into Blood Mary. Recommended kits: Unsealed Sorcerer, Unhinged Esper, Unwanted God, Godly Highschooler — the same names on the tier list.

Phase two starts at 450 HP. New slashes, faster, wider. Three or more players can trigger Special Hell, a shockwave that ragdolls the pile. Solo or duo. If you are dying, leave the arena; Chara cannot follow, and you can regen. A Frisbee from the items list makes her pick it up and lose M1s for a moment. She can still block and special. It is a window, not a win button.

Rewards

• About 33% to unlock playable Cursed Child; higher if you finish top three in damage (community reports up to the mid-60s, not a guarantee).
• Emotes on a miss. First and second get two, third gets one in several writeups.
• Public-server collab badges when a crossover is live — see events.
• Drop chance resets when you leave the server.

There is no honest “100% drop if you pay.” The Robux button skips the wait, not the RNG. Farm with a duo on a clean private server if public is a circus. Bring the controls you already practiced. This is a pattern fight, not a DPS check with 16 randoms pressing 4.
