The combat is the reason

F-tap parry, Q dashes with i-frames, 4-M1 wall confirms, G awakenings, and character-specific QTEs are a real fighting game loop inside a 16-player Roblox shard. That loop is documented on how to play because the game itself will not teach you. The skill floor is higher than Blade Ball and lower than a dedicated 2D fighter. Mobile is supported and disadvantaged, which the mobile controls page does not sugarcoat.

Monetization, honestly

No character gacha. No redeem codes. Early Access is the only fighter gate, and it currently holds Short Alchemist. VIP, outfits, kill sounds, extra emote pages, Private Server+ are cosmetics and quality-of-life. That is cleaner than most of the genre. It is also why the codes page is empty and why the unlock page is a boss fight instead of a spin. PS+ is the pass that can accidentally delete your boss spawn. Read before you buy.

Content cadence

From July 2024 development through a 2025 public launch into 2026’s Everything Update, the game has added Duels, Culling Games, Edgerunner’s full kit, Silk Weaver’s ultimate, and a collab with Jujutsu Shenanigans. That is a live game. It is also a game whose public documentation lags — hence unranked rows on the tier list. JSD TV and Discord are the patch feed. There is still no Trello.

Verdict: play it if you like TSB-likes and can tolerate a wiki. Skip it if you need daily codes and a baby-sitter tutorial island. S-tier is free. The boss is fair if you solo. The scripts exist if you insist. The map is one arena you will memorize whether you like it or not.
