Jump Showdown Emotes
Emotes are the cosmetic faucet in a game with no codes. You claim one every fifty kills, more from boss placement, and extras from Robux pages. Press B. This page sits next to items and kill sounds.
How you actually get them
- Every 50 kills — a claim on the wheel. Titles and emotes are different counters.
- Cursed Child / Strongest of History placement — first and second often get two, third gets one. Boss guide.
- Robux — Extra Emote Slots (4 to 8) and Extra Emote Pages. Not character unlocks. Official links.
- Limited drops from named updates. The May 2026 wave shipped a pile of them plus MVP animations for Duels.
The short update reel is the fastest way to see kill emotes versus normal wheel dances. Kill emotes interact with a nearby ragdoll and cancel with the on-screen X. If the other player cancels, you look silly. That is the point. Sound missing on some new dances is a known community complaint after that patch — the emote still counts.
Types worth naming
Moving emotes play while you walk. Dual emotes need a second player. Meme emotes are the ones Discord argues about. Specials come from bosses and limited shops. Taunts / shouts are a separate V-button layer on PC, not the B wheel. Do not hunt a Trello card for the list — there is no official Trello.

Do emotes unlock characters?
No. Unlock routes are a different grind.
Why is there no sound?
Some May 2026 dances shipped quiet. The animation still plays.
