Jump Showdown Controls
The game is the same on every device. The buttons are not. This hub is the full chart; drill into PC controls or mobile and console when you need a layout without the other columns in the way.

M1s are four hits: the first three chip, the fourth hits harder and sets wall combo timing. Hold F to block; tap F on the connect frame to parry. A perfect block into M1 is the window people call Black Flash in this game — it is not a universal cursed-energy mechanic, and the parry guide is honest about that. Dash has i-frames at the start. Side dash is the one that beats Chara’s opener slide.
Inputs that are really techniques
- Wall combo — 4 M1s, then Q while the opponent is near a wall. Full write-up: wall combos.
- Wall run — look sideways, double-tap and hold jump. Up to three runs, fewer as HP drops.
- Ragdoll cancel — long cooldown, saves stocks, does not make you immortal.
- Awakening — fill by dealing and taking damage, press G, dump the new kit. See Awakening.
Keybinds can be rebound in Settings. If a mobile clip does not match your HUD, you moved a button. Console players should not assume The Strongest Battlegrounds layout; LB-for-block is the Jump Showdown default called out in community charts, and it is the bind we list until Jimpee publishes an official overlay.
Learn these on dummies at the map before you take them into Duels. The how to play video walks dashes, block, parry, ragdoll cancel, and wall combo in order. This page is the reference chart you keep open on a second monitor.
